BUDGET PLANNING!
For our film project on the theme of child marriage, we’ve been carefully planning out our budget. Since the story requires authentic costumes that reflect traditional attire, especially for the lead actors, we realized that costume expenses could easily become the most significant part of our budget. However, as teenagers, we need to be realistic with our spending to avoid overshooting what we can actually afford.
In our budget plan, we’ve allocated funds for several essential areas:
Transport – Ensuring that our cast and crew can reliably travel to the set location, especially for multiple shooting days, is a priority.
Food for Cast and Crew – Since filming often involves long hours, keeping everyone energized and focused is key. Providing basic refreshments or meals will help maintain morale and productivity on set.
Costumes – While we want our costumes to be as authentic as possible, we’ll need to find a balance between quality and affordability. We’re exploring options like borrowing, renting, or purchasing second-hand items to capture the right look without exceeding our budget.
Equipment – To elevate the quality of our film, we’re budgeting for essential equipment such as microphones, a tripod, and additional camera lenses. These items are crucial for clear audio and sharp visuals, and we’re looking for budget-friendly options or potential rentals.
